Prairie Reign Gymnastics is a new club located in a permanent facility in Grande Pointe, Manitoba (six minutes south of Winnipeg). We are currently accepting applications for coaches in our recreational and competitive programs. Come join the Prairie Reign family!

Position Description: Coach

Part-time positions are available during the school year.
Must be available to work evenings and weekends. Daytime positions may be available.
Entry level with opportunity for growth. Wages will be based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Coach children of all ages and abilities in gymnastics programs
Celebrate each athlete's individual success and contribute to their personal growth
Lesson planning (guidance will be given)

Requirements:

Clear criminal record check and child abuse registry check
NCCP coaching certification or willingness to obtain
First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Respect in Sport certification or willingness to obtain
Reliable form of transportation (not on bus route)
Ability to speak, read and write in English
Physically capable of spotting and lifting up to 50lbs
16 years of age or older, or 15 with completion of Young Worker Readiness Certificate Course.

Personality Requirements:

Fun, energetic and personable
Approachable with strong communication skills
Punctual and reliable
Mature, but able to be silly!
Team player
Displays a good attitude and excellent sportsmanship

Assets:

A background in gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, other sports or education
Experience coaching and strong spotting skills
French language skills

Prairie Reign Gymnastics proudly announces its new gymnastics club, located at 11-610 Discovery Drive in Grande Pointe, Manitoba will officially open in August 2020. After months of preparations through the COVID-19 pandemic, Prairie Reign looks forward to supporting athletes from the RM of Ritchot and Winnipeg recognize their potential, accomplish their goals and most of all, have a fun, fitness-filled experience.
