PRAIRIE REIGN COMPETES AT CROCUS INVITATIONAL/MANITOBA OPENS

The Crocus Invitational and Manitoba Opens were held in Winnipeg, March 22–24, 2024. For Prairie Reign’s athletes in levels 2–7, the Crocus Invitational marked their final chance to refine their skills and leave a lasting impression on the judges before the Provincial Championships. The level 8 athletes competing in the simultaneously held Manitoba Opens, faced heightened pressure as they vied for the opportunity to represent Team Manitoba on the competitive stage.

Several outstanding performances shone brightly, some of which are as follows:

• Blake S emerged as the all-around champion in her category!
• Isla M, Quinn S, Gabrielle S and Jamie S each secured a silver medal in the all-around competition in their respective categories!
• Lily L, Briella Z and Maddyn M won the bronze medal in the all-around competition in their respective categories!
• Numerous athletes placed in the top three on individual events!
• Zoe S was named to Team Manitoba!

PRAIRIE REIGN IN MORDEN!

Some of Prairie Reign's Level 1 and 2 athletes attended Morden Magics' Spring Classic on March 9^th, along with their coaches, Abby and Myah. The athletes had fun showcasing their talents for their families and the judges.

Among the many achievements, include the following standout moments:

• Scarlett L, Henley D, Émilie D, and Thealyn R secured the top honours, clinching gold in CCP 1!
• Lauren P once again soared to victory, claiming 1^st place all-around in CCP 2!
• Malaika M earned a well-deserved 2^nd place all-around in CCP 2!
• Emma M showcased her talent and determination, clinching 3^rd place all-around in CCP 2!

Congratulations to each and every member of the team for their outstanding performance! Here's to many more successes ahead!

PRAIRIE REIGN WINS 1ST PLACE IN MINNEAPOLIS!

Some of Prairie Reign’s athletes travelled to Minneapolis, Minnesota, for the 29^th Annual Northern Lights Classic, held March 1^st to March 3^rd. Beyond the competition, the athletes indulged in team bonding adventures such as rock climbing, swimming escapades and exhilarating rides at the Mall of America. Their adventures also included stepping back in time for an "old-time" photoshoot, which added an extra layer of fun to their experience.

The excitement didn't stop there though, as the athletes showcased their skills on the competition floor. Here are just a few of the highlights:

• Quinn S continued her reign as the all-around champion, also clinching 1^st on beam and floor, 2^nd on bars and 3^rd on vault (level 3).
• Lily L secured 1^st place on bars, 2^nd on floor and an outstanding 2^nd place all-around (level 3).
• Gabrielle S earned 2^nd on bars, 3^rd on floor and a remarkable 3^rd place all-around (level 3).
• Violet C claimed 1^st place on floor (level 3).
• Briella Z secured 2^nd on vault and 3^rd on floor (level 3).
• Alina E had 3^rd place finishes on vault and beam (level 6).
• Ellia C won 3^rd place on beam (level 3).

In a testament to the team's collective excellence, Prairie Reign also clinched the team champion award for the best level 3 team!
